As the end of 2014 draws to a close on my side of the world I can’t help but look back on all the adventures I have managed to pack in to 12 short months. I started out the year in Australia in what can only be described as true Goldson fashion; I am now in Wales and doing exactly what I love to do… writing.
I was once told that you should bring in the New Year as you mean to continue, I did that last year and this year is no exception. 2014 has been packed with so many adventures, from January to December it has been nothing but fun. Ok so my life isn’t perfect and there have been the downfalls too but looking back, all the good things outweigh these hugely.
They say that you should go somewhere new at least once a year, a philosophy I have tried to live by. This year started out in a new country for me, and a long the way I have been lucky enough to visit Dublin and Amsterdam both for the first time and have found a little slice of Wales that I am falling in love with more and more each day.
This New Year is a quiet one for me but no less special. I have finally figured out what it is that I truly love doing and thanks to all the adventures I have had, I have been able to keep doing it day in and day out. I may not be sipping on cider or partying past midnight but I wouldn’t change this night for the world.
I love travelling and being able to share that with you all is such a treat. I hope to make 2015 just as amazing and I hope that somewhere a long the lines you all will find a little inspiration in the words that I write. Short of making this post extremely cheesy I would just like to thank you all for following and reading and sharing in my adventures. I am a writer not because I want someone to read it, I write because I love to do so, and it means the world to me that people take the time to read what I have to say, and let me know that they love it too.
Happy New Year to you all. I hope that 2015 will be full of so many adventures and nothing but good times and happy days. Like I said, there is still so much to see and the world is waiting. So let’s go anywhere because as Robin Williams once said, to live would be an awfully big adventure.
