Looking To The Future

A few extra ideas that I have heard about a long the way. A way of adding it to my bucket list without having to carry my bucket list book. Any ideas welcome and of course feel free to add in your opinions about any possible trips that I post on here. I want to know if they will be worth it or not and of course the highlights that are simply a must see or a must do. I am pretty sure that I should just list all the countries in the world because I want to visit them all but these are the select few that I am prioritizing. Although at the moment this list is looking a little long too. So much travel to do and so many places to go!!

Specifically: Tumby Bay only because google images and the stories from Jordan and Madi make it sound amazing, Perth, Melbourne, Mount Tambourine (although have heard some dodgy stories). I have been to Sydney, Yeppoon and Airlie thus far in to this chapter of my adventure, I will have to go back soon for more things down under.

Canada: More than 15 people have told me this is a must.

Russia: I hear the architecture is incredible and the vodka goes down well.

Ireland:Β I have had a taste of what it offers in Dublin and I’m hooked. Take me back to the Emerald Island!

Wales: Finally made my way to:

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, Bangor, Beaumaris,Β and was not disappointed! Now to finish my Epic Welsh Adventure.Β There is so much to see on your own backyards so take a leaf out of my book and get exploring!

Europe: So many reasons to go there.Β Most importantly: Italy, France again, Portugal again, Greece, Hungary again, Czech Republic, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland. London too but I am going to travel it like a local when I am much richer!

Antarctica: Because it may not be there forever and I love penguins!

South East Asia: Not for the full moon parties of the backpacker scene but to visit some friends and soak up the culture

More of Africa: Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Morocco: Marrakech, Fez, Egypt, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Algeria: Algiers, Constantine

America: Because everything is super sized and insanely over the top (depending on exactly where you go). I’m going to spend a few months submerging myself in American culture, this epic trip is going to be know as my Great American Road Trip. Must add that I have been to NYC but there’s still so much left to see.

  1. We loved Vietnam – did a short overland trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh (north to south). Asia is so different to anything we had done before. Got our trip on my blog if you want any ‘highlights’.

Got so many places on my list – that sadly won’t be realised before I turn 30 in January! But life doesn’t end after 30 πŸ™‚ don’t think my mam went abroad before she was 30 and she gets about here and there and has lived in different countries too since πŸ™‚

    • No worries – thanks for stopping by. Memories can be relished much more than some bank balance. Because we’re stuck where we are for the moment G and I are trying to do at least one new thing each month (still ambitious on a student budget!). In January it was trying s couple of new restaurants, February was my first time at the ballet and in March we are going to see David O’Doherty and Derren Brown again (new shows – and not both at the same time!). Last year I went to my first one man show… different to going somewhere new but I’m making the most of what we can do πŸ™‚
